WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU BRING?
Sean uses a professional state of the art sound and lighting system. During our conversation and booking process, I will discuss size of venue, access time and vibe you are looking for.
WHEN DO YOU ARRIVE?
DJ Sean Hanlon will arrive at least an hour before your start time. I require at least 1 hour before the start to set-up. Depending on the size of the venue, extra time may be required. This will be discussed at booking.
CAN I EXTEND THE TIME OF THE FUNCTION?
If you are looking to extend the time of your booking, please let Sean know as soon as possible. If this is on the day of the event, this will be accommodated where possible. A surplus charge will be payable before the extra time commences. Please note that there is no guarantee of extending your booking.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes – Sean has public liability insurance.
HOW IS MY BOOKING PROTECTED?
Your booking is protected by a contract with you agree to when signing and agreeing to our terms and conditions.
A non refundable booking fee is also payable to secure your date.
CAN I ARRANGE A MEETING?
Yes – We can arrange to meet face to face, via WhatsApp, over the phone or using Zoom.
HOW DO I PAY?
There is a number of ways to pay for your function. You can pay via bank transfer, card payment or cash. Please note that cheques are not accepted. Booking fees should be paid within 24hrs to secure your booking.
CAN YOU TRAVEL?
Sean covers Edinburgh and the Lothians, Glasgow and the West, however on a regular basis we go further! We can travel anywhere in Scotland and the UK. Please note that this will be reflected in the quote.
CAN I BE INVOLVED IN CHOOSING THE MUSIC
Yes – absolutely! You will have access to our own events planning portal. You can provide information on the songs you love and hate. You can also give your guests requests. We suggest no more than 20 requests. My job is to cause a dent in the dancefloor by reading the room, taking requests and ensuring you and your guests have an amazing time.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE ILL?
DJ Sean Hanlon is part of the DISCOUK network. With this network, in the unlikely event I cannot attend your function, you will be informed and a suitable substitute will attend. They will offer the same level of professionalism as me. Please note that to date, this has not happened and we have fulfilled 100% of our bookings.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE NOT FREE ON MY DATE?
At the time of booking, your date is blocked out for you. If I am already booked on the date you require, I can suggest other professional DJ’s who can do an amazing job. These are the same DJ’s who would cover for me in the event of sickness.
CAN YOU PROVIDE KARAOKE?
I can provide karaoke at an additional charge.
